Amazing!
This is a wonderful toner. It moisturizes without drying, soothes sensitive skin, and the rose smell is delicious. It feels luxurious to apply in the morning to start the day, for a calming lift in the afternoon, or a relaxing way to prepare for sleep. A small amount goes a long way, so I've been surprised by how long a bottle lasts. I can't think of any way to improve this product.

I'm addicted! totally addicted. I ran out this week and couldn't bring myself to throw out the bottle until the new bottle arrived in the mail, hoping I could eek out a few more skin nourishing droplets. you have got to try it! I have insane combination skin, with a forehead that gets so greasy you'd think someone had drained 6 pounds of bacon on it and cheeks that get dry, red and patchy if the wind blows a little too hard on them. I dampen a cotton pad with this and stroke it across my skin, and the results are amazing - cheeks are softened, forehead is cleared of shiny greasiness and relieved of the bumps that can so often be found there. it's alcohol free and doesn't dry out my skin, either. the smell is an artificial rose smell, which may not be for everyone, but others have remarked that it has that clean soap smell instead. the last bottle I bought lasted me for about 9 months of once daily swabbings, plus whatever portion my daughter has used, so it's also a...

Thayers Witch Hazel-Rose Petal alcohol-free toner can also be used to clean your makeup brushes. It contains some of the essential ingredients found in a popular makeup artist brand of brush cleaner...witch hazel (a cleansing ingredient) and grapefruit seed extract (known for it's antibacterial properties). What it doesn't have in common with the MA brand is alcohol, which is a very drying ingredient, both for the face and natural hair brushes. Minimal Alcohol, No Artificial Color or Fragrance
This toner is refreshing and effective, with no added chemicals that I need to be concerned about. Most drugstore brand toners and astringents contain artificial coloring and fragrance. Why would I need a brightly blue colored toner? To give my skin a blue cast? Things can be absorbed transdermally. I don't know that there is any proven harm in applying artificial color to your skin, but why take the chance? I also appreciate that there is only a minimal amount of alcohol added to this product. My skin is dry enough as it is. This is a great natural formula. I use it on a cotton ball, plus I pour some into the plastic packaging that contains facial cleansing cloths. Those cloths are typically too dry to suit me, and Dickinson's offers the perfect solution.

Best toner EVER!
This product is truly amazing in its simplicity and overall effectiveness. After years of suffering with milia on my chin, they are now gone after using this for just one week! I tried everything - from eliminating foods from my diet to different face washes, toners, moisturizers, etc. I now realize that it wasn't what I was doing that was causing my chin to constantly break out - it was what I wasn't doing. I was not using an effective toner after cleansing. I also realize that the fewer ingredients in a product, the better. My skin just didn't need all the additives that most beauty products have in them. Some of the other benefits are softer, smoother skin. Even with the 14% alcohol, my skin isn't dry at all. I use twice each day, morning and evening after cleansing. As far as the smell goes - really? Who cares? Great for shaving

Real Cucumber Fruit Extract In This
I purchased 2 bottles of Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel along with the Thayer's Witch Hazel with Aloe Pads. . While I like both products, I think I liked the Original Witch Hazel with Aloe the best. One bottle is for my husband to use in his semi to freshen up between showers. It is a very good product, but it has a faint sweetness to it which I wasn't expecting. I does feel fantastic on your skin after a shower - makes my face feel moisturized without any oil or lotions.

Viva La Witch Hazel!
I have combination skin and severe acne. My aunt told me to try witch hazel; I've been using it for about a month and the redness and pimples on my skin and reduced dramatically! Witch hazel not only works well on acne, but with insect bites and bumps. Grrreat product!

Just got it, and it's fantastic stuff!
I'm nearly 20, and decided that my one bad experience with toner shouldn't shy me away from others (my sister had me try Sea Breeze when I was younger and not only did it sting, but also dried me out and inflamed my cheeks). I had been looking at the Thayer products because of the high ratings, when I noticed this one. Not only was it cheaper, but had more fluid ounces, and decided to get it. Right before I was going to add it to my cart, I had the sudden urge to see if Walgreens carried it. I checked, and not only did they have it in stock near by, but it was marked down from 4-something dollars, to 2.99! Not wanting to wait, I went and snatched myself a bottle within the hour and tried it for the first time along with a 6.8oz of Nivea's Soft Moisturizing Cream (I'll be reviewing that next) and I could see the difference immediately. A refreshing aftershave
I'm a guy who does not like wearing any kind of scent. I use this Witch Hazel daily as an aftershave lotion. It is an inexpensive and refreshing astringent and antiseptic that doesn't sting and doesn't smell. Some aftershaves sell for $40 for a 4-oz bottle, but this is highly satisfactory at about 1/40th the price per ounce. Strongly recommended!

A MUST HAVE FOR DOUBLE EDGED SHAVING
I recently ventured into DE (Double Edged) shaving with a safety razor. Before shaving the old fashioned way, which was really tried and true, I regretfully shaved with expensive multi-blade razor cartridges. Not only was shaving expensive, but, it was very painful. I had nasty razor bumps and razor burn. So when I switched to DE shaving, I ordered this alcohol free witch hazel toner which was recommended on one of Mantic59's YouTube videos. No other toner will ever touch this face again!
No harsh chemicals, great scent, skin feels clean but never too dry... I've had blemish-prone combination skin all of my life, and have tried every over-the-counter potion and even pro-activ. Some made my skin worse immediately, some helped for a while, and then made it worse (I swear that is somehow engineered on purpose)... but I've been using this product for over a year, and my skin has never been clearer and healthier. So far so good...
Received the product quickly. Have been using for past several days - once in morning, once at night. While you can feel that somethings on your face, it's not a bad sticky or yucky feel to it. My skin does look more even and pores are not quite as noticeable as before. Smell of toner is not strong and disappears really quickly.

A real saving!
They sell these Medicated Pads at the local drugstore for nearly 15.00$ for a box of 50, and at Costco for roughly the same price for two boxes. But through Amazon, I was able to buy 10 boxes of 100 pads that put my average cost down at 5.16$ for each 50 pads. Totally amazing!
