Great Phone
I've had this phone for almost a year now and other than the occasional dropped call (probably service, not phone), I love it! No, it's not a smartphone, but it does exactly what I need it to do. I'm always using mine to send pictures to Facebook and I have to say that it takes some pretty good pics. It may not be the best phone for someone with big hands as the keys are pretty small and take some getting used to. All in all I would recommend it.

Great phone
My blackberry ate the dust so I decided to buy this phone because I did not have an upgrade available. I really like the features and the price is second to none. The weakest part of this phone is the camera and the lack of video camera. The internet is sufficient for my needs. Call quality is very good and there is an external memory slot which is really handy. I would recommend get a silicone skin, amazon has good deals on them.For anyone who needs an att phone and doesn't have an upgrade the a187 is a great choice, highly recommended.

Excellent, Excellent Phone
I love this phone, I have had it a month or so now, it gives me reception in alot of areas that my daughters blackberry will not hardly pick up on. Works great with bluetooth, has a lock on the keypad to keep mishaps from happening if I drop it in my handbag. I may order another before to long, when there is a great phone it seems like they don't stay around long. The battery life is excellent. I charge mine once every three to four days. I am a medium user, talk some, text some, so the phone is far better than what I had before. Battery life was my first concern, did not want to have to recharge everyday, with this one I do not, the speaker works well without problems, the sound quality is very good, volume is easy to up or down (button on the side) if you want camera quality then this phone does not take pics like the iphone, but its decent, if your more concerned about getting reception and good connection then this phone is for you.

Great!
This is a geat phone! It looks cool, feels really good in your hand and is easy to use. I believe this model description says it comes with fryo 2.2 but it actually comes with an upgrade to 2.3. The box also contained a black and white plastic cover for the phone. Both of these were a nice surprise. The picture is clear and really nice. Netflix works really well. Android system allows for an endless supply of apps. I wanted to get an otterbox cover for this phone but it dosnt appear they make one. Oh well. The phone has been great and I would highly recommend it.

Perfect Interim Phone
I have nothing bad to say about this item. While it is listed as an unlocked device, the unit cannot be used without a data plan UNLESS the palm account activation is bypassed. Hp/palm offers an activation bypass tool under their developer web pages that does this easily, after running some programs you must download. This process took me about an hour, and I was hesitant at first because the Hp/palm site stated that inactivated devices would lose SMS and Phone functionality (what good is the device without these?!). However, I believe that statement only applies to CDMA phone running an older version of webOS; I lost neither. The only loss for an inactivated device is access to the webapps, but if you're looking for a ton of apps, get an android phone or just develop them yourself.I got this item for $81, and it arrived the NEXT DAY with my amazon prime account. For that price, where else are you going to get an unlocked smartphone with a 600 mhz processor, 8 gb internal...

Decent unlocked smart phone for the price.
I bought this unlocked phone to see me through the rest of my current cell phone contract after my basic non-smart phone gave up on life. The main things that attracted me to this phone was qwerty keyboard, the price tag and the wifi capabilities. I don't currently have a data plan and didn't want to get one, but live in a city where there's free wifi readily available just about everywhere.I've had this phone for just over a week and here are my main issues:Wifi/3G:The first thing the phone requires you do to is to set up an Palm profile. The phone will automatically connect to 3G and uses data to do this. The phone also frequently checks for updates and if you set up your email through the phone it'll frequently check in to give you up to date emails. I bet these are neat features if you have an unlimited data plan, but if you have anything less than unlimited you should be aware of the frequent updates and backups that will drain your data and cause...

Great price for the features
This isn't a top end cell phone nor was it when it originally came out.pros: It has a fairly responsive touchscreen and a qwerty keyboard. It's pretty thin. Cheapest in it's category. WiFicons: Only supports up to WebOS 1.4.5 because of the old hardware. DOES NOT come with data cable. Does not have its own manual, instead it's packaged with the non "plus" model's manual, which happens to be CDMA, a major difference.Comments: Te phone it worth it, the old WebOS thing is a non issue since most new software is probably too resource hungry, in any case it's still better than a non-smartphone, and if you actually NEED a smartphone you should probably go for something with android or windows, for example. The packaging was crunched up when received, meaning that it served it's purpose in protecting the sweet sweet innards of the package. Durable phone, sleek looks.
I have had this phone well over 2 and a half years. It is always reliable and there when I need it. The camera on the LG Vu is outstanding! It seems like it takes 6MP pictures but really it is 2MP. It has a simple user interface and easy to use for the average consumer. The call quality is good too. The only flaw I found really is texting, with a full touch screen QWERTY keyboard, it can be a little inaccurate sometimes. Overall 4/5 on this phone. Great phone!!!!...horrible seller!!!!!!
This phone is really great. This was my first purchase online when it comes to buying a phone. This was also my first touch screen phone. The 4 Star rating goes to the phone. I've only had it a day, and it's performed very well, but the condition of all the other things that came with it weren't exactly "new". The OEM shop in NYC said that this phone was new. I knew that it was coming with a charger and all the other ammeneties (sorry for wrong spellings) that a phone comes with. When the phone was opened, someone in my house informed me that there were minor tiny scratches on the back and several finger prints. I saw these as well and didn't really care, but it made me think about if the phone was actually new. I started using the phone today, and the battery was obviously not charged well because it just wasn't because it's a new phone. I went to go charge it, and the charger didn't work at all. Everything is very satisfactoiry but the battery hours
Well, nobody is perfect. This samsung S5230 is not perfect either, has very well touch monitor (not sensitive); The body is light, good small size, good reception, good sound, good display, ok photo, allow MicroSD with a good size of memory, quad band and unlocked, well structured display interface and button placements, very responsive lock button, etc. etc... The battery life is terrible, between 24-30 hours with very light use, i.e. 3-4 calls a day of 2-5 minutes/each. However, with the price of $130s, compared to LG Vue, or even iPhone... I think I can live with that (I have iPod touch that is pretty similar to the iPhone, just w/o 3G, GPS and GSM capability). Not recommended for those who are traveling a lot, but good for those who stay stationary a lot The features are awesome.

Good, not great
You've read the specs on the phone; the screen is nice, the touch works about expected, the OS is laid out logically, and it has a few goodies & apps tucked away so that you feel its more than a basic phone. It also works with AT&T with no problem.Physically, the phone is light, smaller than it appears, and the battery seems to be fine, although I don't talk a lot on my phone. The Camera works well in either landscape or portrait mode, and the camera app fast and works fine.Here's the stuff that isn't so great:1) While the phone supports bluetooth, it only appears to support very basic profiles, so it doesn't look like you can transfer pictures, addresses, and data with your computer which is a significant drawback2) I was very disappointed to realize it doesn't support a normal headphone. Instead, it has a weird proprietary headphone jack, and the headphones supplied are about the lowest quality3) The FM radio is great except that it...

Nice phone--Funciona en Costa Rica--
After some usage, I can tell I have used this cellphone enough for writing a review. It is a nice phone with really cool features. The size is good enough for you to handle it comfortably. The camera takes good quality photos but not so good quality videos. It only works on GSM so Internet browsing is slow --probably also depends on the provider-- The bluetooth is easy to turn on/off and the speaker is really good for conferencing as it's very loud. The screen sensibility is cut at the corners/borders. It reads MP3s and the FM Radio works only with the earphone but it is OK. The games it comes with are really good --especially the sudoku one-- I plugged a 4GB microSD class 4 card and no problems detecting the card or uploading/downloading stuff from it.

Open Life. Motorola Backflip with Motoblur
This is a great product. It is small, yet has a larger screen then expected. It has Motorola's imfamous Motoblur, which, may I say, is awesome, and it arrived so fast that Amazon said it hadn't even been shipped yet. Seriously. That happened. Lol! Battery life is great, and experiencing this phone is quite frankly amazing. It includes access to the Android Market, which has thousands of great apps (not redundant ones like Apple's Appstore has, with repeats of the same thing over and over, which is the reason they have millions of apps), and it has a brilliant screen even though the resolution isn't HD like Apple iPhone's "Retina" display. The three touch-sensitive buttons at the lower front of the phone are completely responsive, and it has a great 5MP camera for the average user.
