Wow...this will really smooth your rough parts
Well, I was initially confused by the directions telling me to wash udder and teat parts. "Why," thought I, "do I need to wash my teats just to put lotion on my hands?" Nevertheless, I went ahead and did it. Anyway--the lotion works great on hands, feet, pretty much any body part I guess, to keep your skin soft and supple or to heal chapped or chafed skin. I've found udderly smooth works better than any other lotion I've tried! It's great for runners with nasty calloused feet. Words of caution: keep out of your eyes. it hurts. Bad. Also, don't use on any of your parts infected with cow pox.

The only Lotion or Cream you will ever need. Really.
About 8 years ago I was working in a field that had my hands in more moisture than I could heal from. Wearing gloves was no help as I just sweat in the gloves and the hands were cracked and bleeding. They would not heal. If you want to have Skin that just plain hurts, well this is it, and it was severe. Cracked skin is the worst! Went to the Doc and they sent me to the Pharmacy after the best creams and lotions that Dermatologists can recommend. In fact, I tried just about everything on the market. Nothing really helped me well, nor felt relieving. The greasy mineral oil based stuff was worse, as you could not touch anything without Greasing it. (if you could hold on to it.) Time off to heal up was not going to happen either. I found Udder Cream and it was the only thing that helped heal my hands. Keeps your skin moisturized
I first heard of this product a few years ago from a friend who testified that this skin moisturizer was working wonders for her. But, it was only a couple of years ago that I finally got to buy and test the product and I second my friend's opinion. This product works and is great for those who live in cold places and need to constantly use moisturizers. This works great for those tough places like your elbow joint, your feet and hands...often these parts tend to be drier than the rest of the body. Udderly Smooth Is Utterly Wonderful
Upon reading the directions of this super duper moisturizer, you may think you are in the health and beauty supplies by mistake. The directions will tell you how to apply to cow's udders for cracked teats and after calving. But once you open it and get a whiff of the summer day like freshness and rub a little into your hands, the cows will have to wait, you'll want it all for yourself. "Udderly Smooth" is a wonderful skin softener, and hydrater. It is luxuriant feeling, smells like sunshine, absorbs nicely and is long lasting.Just a little goes a long way, and it's greaseless and non-staining. Great Stuff!
This cream is great. BTW, one order will probably last you a couple of years. It contains no water and is absorbed by the skin very quickly. The fragrance is light and clean. Great for diabetic skin.

Udderly Surprising!
I first found this "Udderly Smooth Udder Cream" sitting on a sundries shelf in my local Trader Joe's Grocery Store. Out of curiosity, I picked it up and read the instructions. They explained about how to clean the udder, apply the cream and treat teat problems. What is this? And what is it doing in Trader Joe's? I just had to buy a jar to find out. Well, there was nothing on the package to indicate what humans might do with it, so I just had to improvise. First, it seemed to work well anywhere a good lotion might apply. It makes an excellent hand cream, for example. It's one of the best I've ever found. My fiancée suggested that I rub her feet with it and she loved it. What next? Well, I read an account of a fellow who shaved with it, so I just had to try that too. It worked quite well. I don't use anything else!
I found it first in a quilt shop. I haven't used anything else since! It absorbs into the skin so well that I never have that "I'm greasy, I'd better not touch anything for an hour" feeling! It has relieved some occurances of excema for me too - I just put a "glob" of it on & let it sit for a few minutes before rubbing it in. Not only did it stop the itching, but after about a week, the spot was virtually gone! WooHoo!! And if you have a small purse, buy a contact lens case & squeeze some in each side - the case is waterproof & doesn't take up much room, plus it will hold enough Udderly Smooth for several uses!

Some of the best stuff out there!
A friend bought this for herself but accidentally left it in my car. One day when I was out of my own hand cream, I decided to give this a try and I was hooked! It's very thick but it doesn't go on greasy - it really absorbs into the skin. While I think it's a bit too heavy for overall body use, I use it on my hands every day, and several times a day during the winter. Keep a tube in your purse for those cold, hand-chapping months.

Non-greasy; leaves hands soft.
Am a sewer and knitter and have used this product for several years when the local store source disappeared. Does not leave residue on items after use when you touch them such as fabric, yarn, paper, etc. Highly recommend it and easy to use with the pump.

best dry skin lotion I have ever used!
This is the best dry skin lotion I have ever used!! It does not leave my skin with a "greasy" or "slick" feeling, just smooth softness. I can put this on and go right back to the computer and type on the keyboard or use my track ball mouse. With other lotions, I would just put them on the back of my hands when I was at the computer because of the sticky, greasy stuff. I love Udderly Smooth!!!!!

works great for my PSORIASIS
it keeps my skin moist well does feel a tad greasy but not bad at all. i started using this mixed with Indigo Naturalis Powder (Qing Dai) //// [...]///// which is "Indigo naturalis is a traditional Chinese medicine derived from the plant Strobilanthes formosanus Moore. i've been using it for the last few days only when i go to bed for my psoriasis. just in the few days its dramatically cleared the plaque and has cleared the redness 75%. i apply it to my psoriasis and then wrap it with saran wrap. then when i wake up i wipe it off with a old rag. this is helping my mood didn't have to wear my long sleeve shirt today for the first time in a while. i will continue to do this and add to this later. oh yea the mix is 6 grams of Indigo naturalis to 1 ounce of Udderly Smooth Udder Cream Skin Moisturizer. i used a silicon spatula to mix it. i had finished of 1 container so i used that to mix these together. just Okay.. don't believe the hype
I love looking for great moisturizers and I try to stay away from products with parabens or other dangerous preservatives, especially for things that you will apply everyday to your body. So this product seemed like a safe bet. I was using Alaffia's unrefined shea butter lotion prior to this and loved it but wanted to see if this product would compare. This product does not seem to moisturize my skin any more than your standard drugstore bottle of lotion. In fact, my skin seemed to get dry more quickly with this. I'm going back to Alaffia.. I would not recommend this to anyone who has dry skin.

Bag Balm effectiveness
I am 79 years of age and since the 1970s, I have been plagued with dry skin. I have taken the advice of Doctors of dermatology. None of the various medicines have worked. The dry skin has been a continuous problem. Mineral oil, as baby oil, had the best success. But 2 to 3 weeks ago I purchased a 10 ounce can of Bag Balm and a good coating well rubbed into the skin has been the best solution. I have no dry and cracked skin, anymore. I am very pleased with the result and will continue to use Bag Balm from now on.

This is the first-aid kit for skin!
Bag Balm was highly recommended by a lady who worked in a professional beauty supply store to help with patches of severely dry and irritated skin on my shins during the freezing New York winter. Now, it doesn't seem like much to get a recommendation on a skin cream in a store like that, but I should tell you that they didn't even stock this item. She sent me to the drug store down the street to get it! Bag Balm will NOT win any prizes for it's smell (just a touch medicinal) but it is a miracle cream if you are really suffering from patches of skin so dry that you end up raking with your nails to stop the dry skin itch. Nothing I write could indicate what a life saver this stuff is. But, I guarantee that if you try it yourself you will agree that it had amazingly soothing properties.

Great for dog calous!
My dog developed a calous on his "knee joint" and the hair was falling out. My vet recommended the product to help heal it. It was very red and dry. Within three days we saw a huge improvement. Within a week the hair was actually growing back in the area that was affected. The results were amazing.
