Really creamy!

Tasty and Organic
Makes good hummus. Slightly bitter taste by itself on crackers. I am told it is a healthier choice than peanut butter, which I also love. This tahini is slightly runnier than the one I get from the local organic market. Top to learn more

This is the good stuff
My wife and I make and go through a 2-lb. batch of hummus a week (we pack it for lunch every day) - we have been doing this for 3 years. I just used the Al-Wadi tahini I got via Amazon and it made the best batch of hummus I have ever had. Until now I have been using tahini I bought at the nearby supermarket, and I always thought that the bitterness I tasted was just a natural part of the tahini. The Al-Wadi has nothing but pure nutty creaminess and no bitterness. I also noticed that it is runnier than what I usually get, indicating that it has a higher oil content and also that it was in fresher condition than what I had been buying. It had not had time to settle out and clump up at the bottom - so it's easier to use. Buying it this way is also much cheaper than what I have been getting at the store. So I think I have found my Secret Key Ingredient for great hummus and will stick with this from now on.

Hummus gets raves!
I have avoided making real hummus for years. I made a white bean/olive oil variation because I couldn't make hummus that tasted as good as what I bought in stores. I believe this product will save on my grocery bill considering a tub of hummus averages $5. I found and tweaked a recipe online and now people request I bring hummus to gathering. Many don't believe I made it until I give them the recipe. I use three tablespoons of the Al Wadi Tahina to one can of garbanzo beans, among other ingredients. The product comes in a plastic container with a wide mouth making it easy to stir.

Makes GOOD Hummas
The cost of hummas in the grocery store compared to making it is a big factor in trying this product. I can make different flavors in the amounts my family uses. And we use alot. It is so easy to make. With the Al Wadi Tahina in the 32-Ounce Jars I always have on hand what I need to make hummas. We think the taste and texture is wonderful and the cost is more economical than the small jars in the grocery store. It came well packaged and in good time. Give it a try.

Excellent
This Sesame King is excellent tahini. And I come from a middle-eastern family, so I've been eating tahini for decades. This is really good quality at a great price. It's also American-made, not imported from Israel like some others. If you want to join in the apartheid boycott. Whether boycotts are good and effective is debateable, but it's a factor I considered and thought about during my tahini shopping. Anyway, we are on the Subscribe & Save program for this on Amazon, and we're going to stay with this brand. It's great in salads btw, as a substitute for regular dressing or venaigrettes, with avocado. Also great on toast. So yummy. Mmmm. Top to learn more

Ambrosia tahini is just as good as the more expensive brands.
I make hummus frequently and got tired of paying $7 a jar for tahini. I ordered the Ambrosia tahini and it's very good! To me, it's got the same delicious taste as any other brand I've used. Excellent tahini
We use a lot of tahini at our house, sometimes buying it in gallon jars. Over the years, we've used a lot of different brands, and quite frankly they're all pretty similar. That said, the Ambrosia tahini paste has a delicious taste and pleasing texture, and the price is also nice. Tahini disaster
Ordered this product because I like to make my own hummus. I had been purchasing my tahini paste from a local merchant who was charging a much higher price for their product than Amazon. When I received this product both jars had their lids broken during shipping and the oil from the sesame paste leaked out into the box leaving a visible oil stain on the box inside and out. I contacted Amazon who immediately replaced the product. I also told the Amazon staff that this product was not packaged correctly and that there were hardly any packaging precautions taken to ensure that this item would survive shipping. When I received the second package the same thing had happened during shipping making the same mess and ruining the product inside. I contacted Amazon again who immediately refunded the purchase price to my credit card. Amazon handled this situation well. Best Tahini, Best Service (Maybe not the best packaging)
I've been buying various brands of tahini for decades, and this stuff is by far the best tasting I've ever found. It's delicious even before adding anything. In shipping, one bottle developed a crack and leaked tahini all over the other bottles, as well as the box it was in. Tahini being what it is, the result was quite a spectacular mess! However, as soon as I informed Amazon they immediately overnighted a replacement shipment. And with some cleanup the three other bottles were fine. :) Gotta love that. Top to learn more

Ingredients 2 lbs or 1 bunch of Asian long beans, root ends trimmed Olive oil 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1/4 cup tahini paste 2 limes, juiced and zested A dash or two of your favourite hot sauce 1 teaspoon of soya sauce 1/4 cup honey 2 tablespoons... Meanwhile whisk the sesame oil, tahini, lime juice, hot sauce, soya, and honey into a bowl and whisk until smooth. When the water evaporates and the beans are tender the remaining olive oil will begin to sizzle.
3 tbsp white sesame seeds (til) soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours 2 tbsp melon seeds (magaj) soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours 1 tbsp poppy seeds (khuskhus) soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours 5 to 6 garlic cloves 1/2 inch ginger chopped 1 tbsp cumin... 3 tbsp white sesame seeds (til) soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours 2 tbsp melon seeds (magaj) soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours 1 tbsp poppy seeds (khuskhus) soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours 5 to 6 garlic cloves 1/2 inch ginger chopped 1 tbsp cumin... Sesame seeds are main ingredient for Tahini paste in middle east countries. So do include poppy seeds, melon seeds and sesame in your diet. I have clubbed (charmagaz) melon seeds along with khuskhus (poppy seeds) to increase the nutritive value. Sesame Chutney is my moms recipe . …… I love sesame chutney a lot. Grind all into a processor until smooth paste is formed. This chutney is made from white sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are great source of calcium. Melon seeds are low in calories and high in water content.
