Dissappointed by the change in the product
I bought this house for my 2-year-old son. I love the design and the features. What really made up my mind about buying this expensive toy is the secret passage inside that many reviewers pointed out.I cannot even describe how dissappointed I was to find no passage in the house when it was delivered.I contacted Step 2 and they sent a standard reply about some safety standards due to which the passage was eliminated.I just read your Amazon discription and it still states that there is a secret passage in this house.Sending my house back is out of the question. Shipping a huge item like that will cost almost as much as the house itself.I just don't understand why manufacturers cannot list all the changes to their products, so that the consumers were aware of what they are buying.

Great Playhouse!
Our kids love this playhouse. Our 18 month old especially loves ringing the doorbell and our 4 year old daughter loves to play with the little kitchen in it. Right now we have it down in our basement while it's winter out, but when summer comes around, we are anxious to get it outside and let them play out there with it!

Spacious and fun
Assembly is not a breeze, especially since the holes are not actually there, but they must be created with an electric drill. However, once assembled, this house is very spacious, very well thought out, and fun.

BIG price BIG disapointment
We just bought this playhouse for our 3 year old daughter. It is very cute however it is VERY small inside. I don't think more than one child can fit inside at one time. In fact we had to take out the shelf and the sink just to make enought room to move around. If the toy r us store had not had to take it out of the box to fit it in our SUV we would definatly be taking this back. I am very disapointed at the size for $300.00. Think twice before buying this playhouse!

Very cute, great idea but very deceiving
This was a great looking playhouse and my husband and I were so excited to bring it home to our 2 year old daughter. When my husband was half way through putting it together, he mentioned that the plastic was very cheap and he didn't like it. After he finished putting it together we both said that it was way too small on the inside. My neighbor's daughter who is 4, came over and went inside, she said it was too small and that she didn't like it. My daughter played with it for a little while but then seemed to get bored. She wanted the 4 year old to come inside and play with her, but it was too uncomfortable so they both came out. There is really no way that you can fit more than one child in this.Also, I really don't see my daughter playing with it when she is 3, in fact the second day that we had it set up; she didn't even want to play with it. Sorry Step 2, we also had to return it. We exchanged it for the Storybook Cottage (also by Step 2); It' more money, but...

Excellent Quality
This is probably the best value in its price range. Very durable and large enough for Dad or Mom to get in the house and sit down with your child to play. Easy to put together and take apart. I set it up in my basement for my son and daughter and they have a blast. My son is 4 1/2 and is tall for his age. The house is plenty big enough to accomodate his heighth and then some.Highly recommend.

BEST PLAYHOUSE WOW!!!
I got this for my girls 2-6 and they love it. I would tell all parents if you can choose a house this would be it!!! With my kids having almost 4 years apart in age it is big enough for them to both enjoy it! They have plenty of room and years to enjoy this investment! It is so nice and roomy inside that even I enjoy going in and playing house with my kids. The playdate kids just love coming over and playing in it too. The only two things that we had issues with is when it rains the sink fills up with water and the skylight leaks so we built a mini wood deck patio area and put up a canopy gazebo over it and that solved the issue plus on rainy days we can still go out and play. It also keeps the kids in the shade, keeps the house a little cooler on hot days and the bugs stay out. We have had some Great Tea parties and lunch and dinner picknicks inside our little house. WHAT A FUN HOUSE GO FOR THE EXTRA COST IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!

Great Item!!!! My son and daughter can get enough of it. It's really good for pretend play. We have ours in the house so when it's raining, too hot or too cold the kids can play inside.
