Great Moisturizer for African American/Curly/Kinky Hair
I tried a sample of this product on my super curly natural hair and it was absolutely WONDERFUL. As far as the odor, I LIKED IT, it smells EXACTLY like incense and cocoa butter. I have some in my hair right now and I am constantly sniffing it. Even when I open the jar and warm it in my hand, I inhale the fragrance. It smells very earthy, very rich and very warm, like cocoa butter and patchouli mixed with a little cinnamon and shea butter. I would hate for people to miss out on this great product based on what the previous reviewer said. My hair is VERY VERY SOFT... I use it as a general moisturizer and my once frizzy kinky curls have been restored to touchable softness. I encourage everyone with dry frizzy curly hair to invest in this product. You will NOT be disappointed. A great investment for natural hair...

It is all in how you use it.
Everybody has different hair. This product is suitable for all types with one caveat: experiment based on your hair type. This is basically a concentrated palm nut oil paste. Obviously, people with fine hair don't need to slather it on. The original Ojon treatment is a conditioning product, not a styling one. My hair is dry, coarse and relaxed. When I first got the treatment, I put it on my ends to fortify and smooth them out. That worked okay. The real magic happened when I had washed and conditioned my hair and was blow-drying it. Once my hair was halfway dry, I applied the treatment throughout my hair, brushing to distribute the product. I then finished blowdrying my hair. Somehow, my hair was shinier, more moisturized, and more elastic(less breakage). And it stayed that way until I washed it again!! Yes, there is a smell(cocoa butter/sandalwood). If you don't like "natural" smells, don't buy it. At least at Sephora, you can buy the small...

I don't know how I lived without this!
Simply put, I found this product to be everything it promised... and more! I have very fine, naturally curly hair that tends to frizz at the first sign of humidity. I have been a loyal Kerastase user for ages (both the Oleo Relax and the Elasto Curl lines), but when my stylist used the Ojon products on me recently, I knew I had to give this product a whirl. If you don't shake it enough, it sprays on greasy, but it's easy enough to see it "mix" through the bottle to prevent this from happening. A little goes a long way, and it did indeed smooth and add shine WITHOUT weighing down my hair. With continued use, my curls seem to have better definition (more "spring", ya know), and its overall condition is definitely better... softer, shinier, and smoother. I sometimes combine it with just a dab of Ojon's volumizing mousse for shiny, bouncy volume. Well worth the price... I don't ever leave home without it!

Dry frizzy hair saviour
Like all the other reviews, I have to say this is arguably the best product in the Ojon range. I have very dry (thanks to living in a big city with hard water) and frizzy hair. Just a couple of sprays of this mist and a quick brush and my hair is instantly smooth and soft. I've actually had people comment on how soft my hair is now instead of the straw it used to feel like. The scent is also very pleasant unlike the paste which I do find to be too smokey at times. If you have dry and/or frizzy hair (afro or otherwise) this is a must have for daily hair care. If this product ever runs out, I don't know what I'll do!

Great stuff!
I have used most of the Ojon products with great to pretty good results. Of all the products, I've gotten the best immediate result with the revitalizing mist. I have thick, course, curly hair that can be very difficult to control. Using this spray before I put anything else in helps keep it manageable and soft without frizz. The curls tend to keep their definition better and I can run my fingers through them without causing a big poofy mess. Everything the bottle claims it can do... it delivers!!

I FINALLY LOVE MY HAIR!!
I bought this from QVC but wanted to rate it here cause I am so in love with this stuff!!! I was skeptical about buying cause I didn't think it would do much of a difference with my hair. I have medium hair length. I have allot of hair but each strand is really thin so my hair breaks and gets damaged easy when I blow dry or heat style. My husband once said I have "itchy hair." The first time I tried this product I immediately noticed a difference!! My hair was softer, shinier and felt amazing!!! After the 3rd time I used this stuff my hair felt even better!! I had my hair down on a windy day and my hair was being blown every where! I got in my car to fix it. I just ran my fingers thru my hair a couple times and it was nice again. I didn't have any knotts and it felt amazing still!! No my husband says my hair feels "like silk." I highly recommend this stuff!!! =)
