Finally a Comfortable Chair for a Very Bad Back!
I'm in heaven. This chair gets the award for the perfect chair for a very bad back. My back is so bad that I'm disabled. Normally I can't sit for any short period of time. I have been able to work on my crafts today without being so crippled up. I was sooo...HAPPY! The chair has amazing lumbar support built in it and hits me in the proper zone of my back. The LeatherPlus is very buttery soft but seems very durable. I raked it across my texured wall without a rip or scratch on it. I'm loving this chair just after using it in these last 2 days.It arrived packed in large box intact. My husband was able to put it together in less than 6 minutes. It took him twice as long to remove the chair from it's box due to it is packed in the box tightly with a spongy pad to cushion it in shipping.The chair is ample in size and very padded. Very Comfortable Chair For the Money
I received my chair today, assembled it and tested it out. My immediate comments are the following:1. Cosmetics: Very nice looking chair. Does look like a chair costing more.2. The leather Plus is just that, a cross between leather and vinyl, although it does look like Nappa leather, but the feel is not quite the same.3. Function: This chair DOES Recline. Past reviews said it did not. Those people need to pull out the lever that operates the height (air cylinder). This will unlock and the chair can recline about 25 degrees or so. Adequate for most people and standard for most chairs.4. Comfort: The chair is very comfortable with adequate padding in the seat and the back. Also has lumbar support which I like. I could sit in this chair for hours. As a professor I work from home quite a bit, so we will see how the back feels.5. Great desk chair
This chair arrived well-packaged and protected with a lot of foam insulation around the wheels and metal components. Assembly was quick and simple, as I didn't even need the instructions. All you have to do is put the air lift on the base and place the seat on the air lift, then it's ready to go. The chair has great lumbar support and reaches all the way up to my head, allowing me to rest entirely against it. It's also fairly comfortable, having a few inches of padding, while not being too compliant so as to lack support, making for a pretty good balance that I particularly like. The air lift lever (for raising/lowering the height of the chair) is designed so that when pushed in the chair cannot recline, but if you pull it out slightly, it releases a mechanical lock and allows the chair to recline back about 20-30 degrees.I got it at a significantly reduced price on Amazon recently and think that it's definitely one of the best designed chairs for the price I got it at...

Nice chair, but.....
The back of the chair breaths nice, and I got this chair on sale. However I wouldn't recommend this chair at it's retail price. It can get uncomfortable, because the seat isn't padded that well. So if you're like me and sit at your desk to study, you should find a different chair.

Good light duty chair
I bought this chair for my wife's home office. The seat, back and arms are extremely strong and light, and she is happy with the mesh back.That said, this is a light duty chair. It has a very cheap bottom plate, the part that joins the seat with the piston, I wouldn't recommend this kind of chair for anyone over 200 pounds, or somebody that taps feet a lot because that is going to be enough stress to break that bottom plate prematurely.

Excellent Value and Very Comfortable
Quite a bargain, we started with purchasing one of these chairs to check out the quality and durability for everyday use in the office. We always purchased the Aeron chairs at the hefty pricetag of > $500 a pop. These chairs are very, very comparable in my opinion. The users love them. They are fully adjustable and mesh seat and back. We have since re-ordered seven more for every person in the office and everybody loves them. Great morale booster, and we finally replaced the outdated office chairs. Simple to assemble the arms, and delivery was amazingly fast - 2 days they were on our docks! Would definitely recommend!!

My new Warcraft throne
Very nice for long gaming sessions (6+ hours). Fabric durable and the mesh backrest gives support and ventilation. Controls allowed me to set the position of the chair to match my body contours. Assembly easy and delivery was faster than advertised. Chair has a good quality feel to it. Arm rests are nice but I prefer not to use them. I am happy the manufacturer designed it that way. The only thing keeping this from a five star rating is the casters. I would like a little more friction in the movement for better stability. This is a minor detail. For the price this chair hits the mark and I would buy it again.

Used 12hrs/day for a year - Things to know
I've owned this chair for more than a year and work in it 12hrs per day... Things to know:1) Price: $168. Can't beat it, I've looked.2) Like, but can't afford, an Aeron? Then this is the best sit you're going to get. There are a few good $250+ chairs out there that match this chair in comfort and fit, but none beat it. Only spend the extra money if you just have to have a prettier chair (yeah it looks like some kind of cheap asian knockoff because face it - it is.)3) Quality: Lasts. I wear out chairs fast, especially the seat. Anything not rated for continuous use tends to fall apart in about 3-9 months. This thing is still standing after 14 months and I haven't even had to tighten the screws. The cloth seat has resisted the occasional drink/snack stains too.4) Little quirks: Armrests, they are what they are. They work, but are a bit wobbly per design as is common on such chairs. Good product for the price
Just got this chair. It's quite comfortable, sturdy, and seems well made for a very affordable price.Assembly was very easy and took about 15 mintues. I'm not sure why other reviewers seemed to indicate some difficulty. One small piece of advice: don't tighten the bolts on the arms all the way until you have the whole chair assembled. That way, you leave yourself some give in the structure, making it easier to align the bolts with the holes. Once you have all the bolts in, tighten them up.

Great Chair! Quick assembly!!
I bought this chair because it states the wheels are for carpet, it was a good price and the reviews that stated it was confortable.It is a great chair.. the wheels maybe for carpet, but not the type of carpet someone has in their home. My carpet is a little plush and the wheels don't roll well. It probably rolls fine on the style of carpet you find in offices.Those who say it is hard to put together... probably put too much thought into putting it together and made more work that what it really is. It is very easy to put together... I only looked at the directions once.. to make sure I was putting the shaft the correct way. From the time I opened the box until the time I was sitting in the chair... 20 minutes.. and I was watching TV, too!

You get what you pay for
Just wanted a basic second chair for the office and that's what I got. Assembly instructions are not clear and I have assembled A LOT of products. Take your time, be careful not to cross-thread any bolts (it's seems prone to it and the holes don't line up very well. It's a chair and assembled it does alright. Please note that the rollers are made for carpet and you'll have to buy different ones for hard floor or chair mats (or lay an area rug down). One star deducted for the pain of assembly. Let you know how it holds up.

Our problem was that it is a chair a for a small adult or a teen.It has a narrow seat.For those who don't know the measurement for the seat includes the width of the arms.If it says the seat is 26' wide it is only about 20' wide.If you are a person who has wide hips this not the chair for you.

Well, it's ok....
The price reduction offered is significant, so one has the sense they've gotten a good deal. The truth, however, is that this is not a high quality product, certainly not worth the "$379" original price. It is easy to put together -- the instructions are clear and the parts are labeled. The biggest problem is that the screws don't all fit exactly and a couple of them simply turn and never actually tighten. Once they're all the way in they don't stop turning. It would be good to get them tighter. That said, I did assemble it with no other problems. It's simply not a completely solid chair --i t looks ok, but not great. Is this really leather?Bottom line -- I'll keep it. Maybe I should have spent more money.

I'm fairly new at the review thing - Hopefully this will be helpful to someone.First - The chair arrived in quick time. I ordered it on Thursday and got it on Monday (today).It arrives in a large box that's packed well and isn't extremely heavy.I want to stress - This item was SUPER EASY to assemble. It only requires a Phillips head screwdriver and comes together with 12 screws.Can't find the screws? That's because they're already screwed in. The company ships the product with the screws in place to make sure they're all there upon shipping. By the way, I called Norstar Office Products (Boss Chair People) to find the screws and they were really quick with the answers. Quick service with real people that answered the phone. Of course I felt pretty dumb after they told me they were screwed in, but they said it happens all the time. Excellent chair
I received this chair about a week ago and I couldn't be happier with it. It is super soft and comfortable with good lumbar and head support (for when you want to lean back and relax.Assembly is simple but requires a lot of unscrewing (to get the screws)and then rescrewing. Specs don't mention that the chair holds up to 250 lbs. and it is recommended that you purchase "soft" wheels unless you are using it on carpet.

Nice Chair
Its been very difficult to find a good office chair these days for a good price, but I think this chair actually gets it done. Its not a thickly cushioned chair like some others, but it's still very comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time. It has 3 levels of height which work very well, but I like the lowest setting because I like a chair lower to the ground. Another thing worth noting is the chairs general appearance. It's very attractive and classy looking. The materiel is also very soft and feels very nice on skin, such as bare arms when you rest them on the arm rests. I had a little trouble in assembling. The screw holes are set into sockets and you cannot hand tighten them to get it started. When you can't get it started by hand tightening... then you cant "feel" the actual connection between the screw and the bolt, so Its just tough to make sure your not cross threading when getting it started with a screwdriver.
