Incredible Tool
Putting my 2 cents in as I'm shocked this thing isn't getting more 5 star reviews. It's tough, Milwaukee has a great line of impact hex attachments for it that all come in one kit and fit in the driver instantly without any play, and the belt attachment is really handy. Yes, it only works with the m18 batteries... get over it. I use this tool weekly as a homeowner, have had it for about a year, and there's just nothing bad to say about it.

compact but powerfull
I was using a 18volt milwaukee drill driver to set some concretbolts it wouldn't drive them all the way in. So i used the 18voltimpact driver. It set them all the way in with no problem. Bothdrill use the same battery.I think this is a great tool & i would recomened it.

Red Lithium
This kit came with red lithium batteries, one battery was in a factory sealed bag and the other was installed on the driver. The cells are manufactured in Korea with further assembly in China and carries a TWO year warranty, the driver carries a five year warranty. I was hoping for Japanese cells considering the price. The reds have good capacity. If someone manages to drain one of these batteries faster than the second battery can be charged on the thirty minute charger they are really doing something, I was driving five inch lag bolts into hardwood for a couple of hours and that's after I drilled pilot holes and never needed to swap batteries, they all went in effortlessly btw.The driver and the charger was laid bare in the case, the drivers outer sleeve had deep scratches in the metal from what appears to be from being placed in a vise, along with slight marring from being banged against the case in transit, it was nice of Milwaukee to save me the discomfort of scratching up...
