Bought sander for wood projects and it works great. I have electrical sanders but they are heavy. This one is very easy to use and is light enough to handle easily. The speed control allows slow operation which is very useful. I am sure that the SM-605 is primarily made for body work, but it is ideal for my projects. Amazon gave me quick free delivery and it was all that I had hoped for.
