Works!
If you are handy with a soldering item, and are extremely frustrated with your Samsung LCD TV not working, I would recommend giving this product a try. However, before you do I strongly recommend searching for online information (YouTube, etc.) to see if your model/year has the described problem and that you can do the work yourself. Obviously, enough Samsung televisions have this problem that Hobby Mods came up with a repair kit. The capacitors are of high quality, and the kit is complete (except for the soldering iron). In my case, the OEM capacitors did not look bad, but I replaced them all anyway and reset all the ribbon cables in their respective connectors. My TV has been working since (so far 2 months). A Must for any Samsung with Pink Dot Problems / Startup Problems
These capacitors worked very well to fix my 46" Samsung with pink dot / start up problems. I youtubed the problem, watched a couple of videos, then opened up the back of the TV and sure enough all of the capacitors with problems jumped out at me. If you have a little bit of mechanical aptitude or soldering experience you'll have no problems with this fix and this is the kit for the job! My TV was fixed nine months ago and it's still going strong with no issues.

Great picture, Great value
I'm not at all as knowledgeable about this stuff as most of the people that write the reviews so this should may good for people who are clueless about this type of stuff. I had read the reviews before buying this and wasn't sure if I should spend the extra $ on Monster cables or not so I bought Monster cables and this at the same time. I was hooking up to Direct TV and a Panasonic Blu-ray to my HP 1080i HD 47" Flat LCT TV so I needed two anyway. When I switch these with the Monster I can't notice any difference in quality. A friend of mine works for Tweeter and helped me with my TV installation so I asked him about it and he said that there's very little difference and he wouldn't spend the $ to upgrade. I spent $15 on these instead $40-$50 on Monster (which would have been $200+ at the store that I bought the TV at) and got the same picture as far as I could tell.

Don't waste your money on "monster" cables or "retail" cables
These cables were shipped fast and work just great! I've compared to other "high-priced" brands and performance-wise, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL. This is what you would expect from a cable carrying a DIGITAL signal... it either gets from one end to the other, or it doesn't. Digital does not have the nuances of analog, so spending a zillion bucks on fancy cables is just a waste of money.Highly recommended!

CHEAPEST HDMI LONG CABLES?
I am NOT electronically savvy, but: I bought these 15' HDMI cables on the cheap because I couldn't see popping $80-$100 for a set. Many many online reviewers have stated that price doesn't make that much differance in HDMI cables, so I thought I'd 'waste' $5 and try them, rather than 'waste' $100 on a quality that I didn't need. Did that make any sense?These work great! My upconverter upconverts just fine, Everything looks HD to me! If you don't have the extra loot to throw at HDMI cables, buy these. You'll be happy. To quote Ned Flanders, they work just Diddly-Darn-Fine.

OK but
OK but has a terrible glare problem. I go to my clients computers from mine online and they sometimes have such small fonts I couldn't work without a magnifier of some kind. This does the trick and my husband likes his because his eyes are not as good as they used to be even with glasses.The glare problem is by day - shows my reflection AND by night - shows reflection of ceiling light. The daylight lamp is over the desk and does NOT show. Hope this helps

Unexpectedly FANTASTIC!
We have had two new HD TVs for just a bit over 5 months. One is a 23" Sony and one a 32" LG. The Sony hooked up easily, but the LG was like our first color set. We diddled with picture, sound, aspect ratio, and other settings to get the best picture and sound on each channel. I still don't know if the differences between channels is resolution, settings, or in the case of the news, makeup. But we were just happy to get it so that we could see all the face lifts...Now for the Haier, a relatively unknown Chinese brand of high definition TV. I plugged it into our Comcast cable box using an HDMI cable, and bingo, a bright and sharp picture with wonderful sound. For a few minutes I was sure a mistake was made, and we had been given a 1080p instead of the 720 that was on the box. Perhaps anything under 50 inches doesn't matter. We think that the Haier is just as good and maybe even a little better picture than the LG! Not one factory setting had to be changed!The...

Great picture quality with a great price!
I purchased this TV to replace an aging 55" rear projection Mitsubitshi that i had set up in my office. While browsing the deal sites I noticed this TV listed at $197 dollars and clicked the link to the Amazon site. I was not familiar with the Haier brand of televisions and thought of it as a cheap knockoff TV with subpar screens. There were only four reviews of this TV while i was contemplating the purchase and though they were mostly good i was a little leery about buying this. Amazon made the decision easier by offering a 30 day guarantee with free return shipping so I went ahead and purchased the TV. I am a subscriber to Amazon Prime, so 2 day shipping was free. 10 months later, still working! Great buy!
I had purposely avoided writing or giving a review to the seller in July of 2009 because I honestly had nothing to say. I cannot review a product I havent really put to the test. Back in July 2009 I ordered about 5 or 8 of these HDMI cables. I had just purchased my Samsung LCD, as well as the entire entertainment center (blu ray, HDMI receiver, PS3, Xbox360, etc) all at once (bought a new condo). When I saw the price of these cables at Best Buy I flipped. Figured Id try the cheapie solution first. Whats the worst that could happen? Id end up losing like $10.00. Who cares.First I did research on "Brand Name" cables vs cheap ones. Everyone pretty much seems to agree they are all the same except that brand name has amazing marketing and publicity.I received the cables fairly quickly, they come in cheap plastic baggies. I was excited to use my new TV and the whole shebang and truly hoped these would work as the alternative was spending $500 or so on what I thought...

Works perfectly
I used this cable to connect a Playstation 3 to a 40" Sony Bravia. At 1080p, the picture is perfect. There are no distortions in the picture or problems with any individual pixels.It's hard to judge the quality of the materials without taking the thing apart but there's nothing noticably poor in the manufacturing or material quality of the cable. It's pretty plain looking and less attractive than the higher-priced cables but who cares?When you consider that it gives you the same result as a Monster or Belkin cables that cost 10 to 20+ as much, it's clear that you're getting a lot of value per dollar with this cable. And yes, it also implies the opposite with those higher-priced cables.My only complaint is that shipping was $1 more than the price of the cable. :-)

Worked for 7 Months, Good Buy
Well, as the old adage goes, "You get what you pay for." In this case, I paid about $5 including shipping for this product in November 2008. It's now June 2009 and the cable has given up the ghost.I had it connected to my 24" Samsung monitor via HDMI out on my PC, and it worked wonderfully for both that and my Blu-Ray player. Last week, however, I started to run into problems. Blue specks were distorting the picture on my monitor and causing the displayed picture to do some really funky things. I suspected it could be my graphics card or monitor, but it turns out it was the cable.I don't regret purchasing this cable at all because it was such a good price and it lasted for so long. I do have to warn any potential customers, however, that you may have to get a replacement in 6-8 months. This is a cheap cable, and it wasn't manufactured to last as long as ones you will pay more for.I'm not recommending going with a Monster HDMI cable, but I do have to...

Great TV for $250
Bought this as a second set for our guest bedroom - my Mom often comes to visit and complained the last few times the TV I had in the room was crap.Was a bit skeptical for the price and an unknown brand. Turns out this is great TV - decent picture, easy to set up, plenty of connections , sound is OK.I have it wired to a regular DirecTV box (not HD) and use a mode in the TV to fill the screen - looks OK - not too grainy and plenty bright. Also have an antenna hooked up - off-air HD looks just fine. Finally - hooked a PC up to it so my Mom can check her email etc. Same story - worked OK and looks fine.Amazon free shipping and no sales tax was the deal maker for me. Buying the same set in the local K-Mart would have cost at least $100 more.If you need an inexpensive (I changed my tune from cheap - this does not perform like a cheap TV) TV don't overlook this set, or other Haier products. If it was made in the USA it been an even better deal...but as-is...

Good TV, Warranty is shorter than described.
The online description says that the warranty is one year parts and labor. However, the manual that comes with the TV says the warranty is for 1 year parts and 90 days for labor. I hope it does not become an issue. The box also has the 1yr/90 days. The TV is very nice and has enough resolution to make a great computer monitor if I need that in the future. I maximized the bass and cut the treble down a bit to eliminate the "tinny" sound that is the default.

Great Little tv!
This is a great little tv perfect for the bedroom. After adjusting the picture, it looks amazing, for the size. I was able to get this TV for $129.99 on here thanks to Amazon's TV price match guarantee, and the shipping was amazing. I'm a Prime member but even I was impressed at how fast it took to get to my house. From order to delivery, was lest than 24 hours, and I chose 2 day shipping so two thumbs up to amazon for that. The only con, is that there is one stuck pixel that stays blue when the tv is on, but it's only a minor problem, not worth the hassle of returning though. All in all Great TV!
