All the herbal remedies that we normally made during her milder skin problems were not responding well enough, so as a last resort we followed a recipe that used a combination of Irish moss, a golden seal infusion, and an equal amount of vegetable glycerin.Literally after only three applications in a eight hour period we saw the redness on her skin and the red hot itchy bumps on her arms virtually disappear leaving behind only minor traces. Fresh Whole Leaf Irish Moss (Raw, Wildcrafted) 16 oz
this is amazing I bought it for a raw Pecan Pie. The Irish moss really is wonderful for thickening. The only thing anyone buying Fresh Whole Leaf Irish Moss is it comes from the sea and it has to be cleaned by you. It is full of sand and some sea debris.

Product Description
Irish moss, or carrageen moss (Irish: carraigín, "little rock"), is a species of seaweed which grows abundantly along the rocky parts of the Atlantic coast of Europe and the Americas as well as parts in the Pacific. In its fresh condition the plant is soft and cartilaginous, varying in color from a greenish-yellow, through red, to a dark purple or purplish-brown. The principal constituent of Irish moss is a mucilaginous body, made of the polysaccharide Carragenan of which it contains about 55%; the plant also has nearly 10% of protein and about 15% minerals, specifically rich in iodine and sulfur. Because of the abundant cell wall polysaccharides it will form a jelly when boiled or processed with water expanding from 20 to 100 times of its weight. Top to learn more
