Duct elbows make more of a difference than you would think
These duct elbows come two to a pack, I ordered six packs to tackle those flexible ducts which could benefit and they were delivered promptly. The body of the elbow is rigid and made from molded plastic. The curve of the elbow is not adjustable and there is none of the "spring" which would be associated with a metal elbow. This lack of adjustment can be a limitation in some instances. Also, the elbow is not a full 90 degrees, probably more like 75 degrees so you need to ensure adequate clearance under the rafters in tight installations. The ties are long enough for most ducts, just. Installation is straightforward but it can prove tricky to get a solid foundation on the top of the vent box if the duct is bunched up or access is tight. I also installed two to ducts on my plennum to ensure optimal airflow. Once installed though there is an appreciable difference in the airflow through certain ducts in the house and thus I would definitely recommend these elbows.

Easy To Use
My contractor used regular grey Duck Tape on the HVAC connection to my new wine cellar. Of course, it started to loosen, and the vapor barrier was compromised. After some research, I found this product, and it's great. It adheres easily, is easy to apply, and sticks like glue to both the HVAC and drywall surfaces. This stuff is on for the long haul.

Great brush... just a little short
When comparing this brush to the other kits sold on Amazon I appreciated the fact that there were no flimsy gadgets promising to get in every crevice of the dryer/vent. This is simply a brush and a good quality one at that. The only thing holding back a 5-star rating on this is the length of the snake. 10' was nowhere close to reaching all the way thru my dryer vent duct. I had to tape the handle to my fish tape and feed it thru the duct that way. After running it thru 3 times it was squeaky clean and my dryer does in fact dry the clothes faster reducing my energy consumption.

10' brush has very hard bristles
This is a hard bristle 4" brush head. It worked great on the straight portion of my drier vent, but did not work within the flexible 4" section. The bristles are simply too stiff to push through the flexible venting (you know - the kind that looks like tinfoil with a spiral wire running through it to give it shape).

dryer vent brush
Overall construction is good and sturdy. The brush fits well through the 4 inch round duct and leaves the inner wall fairly clean. I gave the duct gentle swipe with the brush and used the leaf blower to remove the dust to outside.Now about the 10 foot wire handle. If you try to push the brush in first (as I did), you will find that the wire coil is not stiff enough to push the brush. The wire will bend. However, another reviewer here noted that you can push the wire in first and pull the brush out.

Purchased, Installed and working great for a year
I purchased the Honeywell UV light system from a major home supply company as I was having a mold smell in my HVAC system in the summertime. We had the vents cleaned and sprayed with anti mold/fungal spray and two weeks later it was back. We had our HVAC company come out and tell us the coils were dirty and covered with some mold on the downstream side. They would have to remove the entire coil box from our crawlspace (cut the refrigriant lines!!!), break it open, clean it out and then replace the entire unit for the low, low price of $500. Forget it. I bought a can of coil cleaner, put on my rubber gloves and safety goggles and got into the unit from the upstream and downstream sides, cleaned it and installed this unit to keep the mold from growing.The unit itself comes with the bulb and socket with a plug and good instructions on how to install. You will need to have an outlet near by which I didn't. (Needed to run a new outlet near the install site)You will also need a...

Honeywell RUVLAMP/1C UV Air Treatment System
I recently purchased and installed this unit in the return side of my HVAC system. It comes well packaged and secure. The instructions are very clear and very specific about the dangers of looking at the UV light when it's operating (DON'T DO IT!). A 2" metal cutting hole saw and a 3/32" drill bit are the only tools required. It comes with an installation template marking the center of the 2" hole and the 3/32" holes. Installation is a snap. It also includes several warning labels (self adhesive) to apply below the unit and 2 other locations to alert service personnel about it. I highly recommend this unit. I'll update this in a few months after it's been running for awhile.

Item works perfectly. Cheaper than Lowes, Home Depot, or other dept stores. The HVAC guy wanted to charge us $500 for the light and install. I bought it on Amazon for a little over a hundred bucks and had it installed in 30 min. My wife's allergy problems stopped a few days after install. Product is def worth it!
