Great Set for the Money
I shopped around quite a bit before finally settling on this set and I am very pleased with my purchase. I don't understand a lot of the complaints.The fact that the set is a bit heavy is a plus in my book, not a minus. I would have been greatly disappointed if they would have been light and flimsy. I checked out a few different good sets at bed, bath and beyond before buying on-line, and I didn't think any of the big name brand hard adonized sets were any lighter than these.One of the big selling points for me for this set is the fact that they are oven safe to 500 degrees. I have a few recipes I use all the time that start out on the stove and then move into a 375 or 400 oven, or finish under the broiler and this set can take that. Some of the others I compared have handles that won't take that kind of heat. Amazing....Affordable.....
I am not one to usually post reviews of anything, yet I felt the need to let everyone know how incredible this set of pots and pans really is. My wife and I are avid, amateur chefs. We love to cook and are always in the kitchen concocting something. When we received the set, we were immediately amazed at the high quality and beauty of the pots and pans. They are all really well crafted. The nonstick coating is remarkable and the comfort in the handles makes transferring dishes from pot to plate easy and safe. In my time, I have spilled one too many dishes because the handles were either cheap or slippery. Not so here!One of my favorite aspects of the cookware set is the depth of the pans. I am so used to other skillets with shallow bottoms that help to create havoc on your stove top. Value in durability
This Analon non-stick cooking set features impressively well-made kitchenware for an affordable price.I've been using this set for about a month now and would start by arguing this isn't a set for everyone. If you're a beginner cook, or a bachelor that rarely uses more than one pot or pan, then I'd still advise you to purchase a useable non-stick set in the $100 range. However, if you're looking to graduate from your first set of pots and pans to a "real" cookware set, I would highly suggest you consider this Analon collection.The individual pots and pans from this set all have a great heft to them. These aren't items from the cheap $100 sets. The metal has a somewhat smooth finish on the outside, but an unfinished, yet highly polished underside. The inside bottoms all have a unique non-stick coating that has a very fine texture. The non-stick coatings have worked like a charm so far, with the only exception being that it took some time to wash the edges...

Almost great!
I have several Anolon Advanced pans and skillets and like them all very much. There is nothing 'wrong' with this set, but the pans are NOT as heavy as some of the other pans. I was initially disappointed by that since I really like the hefty feel of my other Anolon Advanced pans. That's why I'm giving it a "Almost Great" rating. I will say that the pans do seem to work just as well as the others I have. And the quality seems just as good. I DO wish, however, that it had been noted in the product write up that these pans are not the same thickness/weight as the others. So, if you are picky about things like that as I am, then this is your warning. If you don't care about weight or thickness, then I'd say you will love these pans. Again, the quality is there, the nonstick works great, and they are wonderful to work with. For those new to Anolon Advanced, be warned that you absolutely can NOT use high temps on any of the pans. Quality Cookware from Anolon
I can honestly say that my wife and I have never used cookware that is of higher quality than this Anolon Nouvelle 10-Piece Cookware Set. We received a set of (8" and 12") as a gift recently and though decent, the difference in quality is readily apparent. The handles are thin and heat up, and the pans are thinner and cook less evenly. Comparatively the Anolon Nouvelle cookware is thicker with layered bases for even heating and have the best handles I've ever had the pleasure to take a hold of. They are thick and easy to grip, and the ends stay cool even if the pan or skillet has been sitting on the heat for a while, eliminating the need to use pot-holders. Even the smaller stockpot handles remain cool enough to pick up the pot when cooking (i.e. spaghetti). The bases where the handles meet the pots do...

The primary value is in the appearance and the comfortable handles
Summary: Overall, a solid set of pans. However, there are some trade-offs. I would recommend this set to someone who likes the appearance or the handle design. However, considering the price, I personally would choose to either save money on a set that is very close in quality, or spend a little more money to get an even nicer set. In balancing all the features (some two stars, some five) into one overall rating, I came up with three stars, "It's OK". The smaller cooking surface and the cost were the primary reasons why three stars instead of four or five.Assumptions: When shopping for a set of pans, I would first make sure I need every pan in the set. Choosing individual pans (instead of a set) can save money and ensure you only buy the pans you truly need. It can be quite confusing if you don't have the directions/instructions right in front of you. The manufacturer notes that the copper-bottomed set needs special care before using the first time. Anolon = Fabulous Cookware
I love Anolon! This set was purchased to replace my previous Anolon set...after 13 years of everyday use! The coating on my original pans started flaking this spring...so of course I bought Anolon. This time I added the 12" griddle pan. My little girl loves BIG pancakes and this pan is perfect.The only negative aspect was that 2 weeks after I received them the price dropped by $100. Plus there was an additional $25 discount if you spent at least $150, which I did. After contacting Amazon I did get an immediate $100 refund, but I forgot to ask about the other $25. Oh well, at least I did get them for the lesser price. Just keep an eye!By all means I would highly recommend Anolon to anyone looking for excellent, heavy duty, long wearing cookware. If you need new pots & pans buy a set of Anolon Advanced or Anolon Classic. Amazing!

BEST COOKWARE EVER!!!
I received this product after about 4 years of using Target's T-fal product. I immediately noticed a difference in my food, the way it cooked and tasted. The soft grip handles are a dream. It was definitely the best deal out there. I have used my dad's Calphalon before and this is far better. A definite must.

Nice cookware, but starting to peel
We got this cookware a little less than a year ago. It is really great to use, and the padded handles are very comfortable and stay cool. The 8 inch skillet unfortunately is already showing signs of peeling the nonstick coating, and things are sticking badly. Although we do follow the care instructions, we do use this pan at least once and sometimes twice a day, but I would have wanted the coating to last at least a little longer.

Easy to clean
This set is replacing a stainless steel set I was using. If you want easy cleaning this is the way to go. Its almost spotless after rinsing with water but you must use soap to remove the film. I am loving the 10" skillet and use it the most. I didn't have one with my stainless set. I expect to get many years of use from these pans and if they wear out I can send for a replacement. You can't go wrong.
